Visited this bakery for the first time today. Everything looked hand made with care and skill. Wasn't expecting to visit a bakery but left with an amazing sourdough with delicious crunchy and chewy crust, and a cinnamon donut which was beautiful with its handmade rugged shape. Langwarrin doesn't have a bakery like this, and we need to support it if we want it to stay around. Staff were lovely and smiley.

I was looking for something unique for a very special person in our lives who had suffered a tragedy. The owner was most welcoming & very helpful & understood my story. Together we designed a very unique one of a kind Crystal Butterfly Suncatcher. She made it while I waited, it was not only beautiful but very affordable as well. Excellent customer service, & Highly recommend.

I was wondering about this cafe, and whether it survived through Covid. I decided to see if I could visit yesterday for the first time in years, and was surprised the quality of the food and coffee is still as amazing as I remember it, maybe even better. There's many cafe options in the city, but if you like a bit of indulgent decadence, give Laurent a try. The only couple of things I would like is maybe a sparkling to go with my cake, and a nicer upstairs and bathroom (it was empty and a bit drab), though the nostalgic feel of an old corridor and fittings was great. I can imagine high teas upstairs.

Had a take away coffee and jam doughnut, having mixed feeling about this bakery.The coffee was quite disappointing; it was weak and felt more like drinking milk than coffee. The jam doughnut on the other hand had just the right amount of filling inside to make it not overly sweet. Doughnut was soft and appetising.
