Cranbourne East Primary School
Disgusted. This school was a disappointment it I went to that school from year2 to 6 and all there is there is bullies and teachers that do nothing about it and all they do is just laugh and tell you to shut up. I have experienced teachers even teasing kids and putting them down for not nowing something.Would not recommend!

I am in grade 10 at the school currently, and am having an absolute ball! The teachers are all nice and helpful, and there are so many nice kids there too. It is so multicultural and I like that. And because they are a relatively small school, they really take care of their students. They also have an amazing Arts Program, which I am a part of. I am in the Dance Alliance, a small all girls dance group who work with our dance teacher to perform at things like Dance Eisteddfods and the Schools Annual Twilight Concerts. I am also a part of the Vocal Group, which is a group of talented singers who are run by our music teacher, and we were recently voted one of the best High School for vocal at the 'Choral Fanfare' competition. We also perform at many places, like Smith Family functions, the old people's home down the road and also at the Twilight Concerts. I am also a part of the band. We are a tight group of students who play instruments and this program is also run by our music teacher but also our specialized band teacher. We are not a very large band. Our Band teacher, who also teaches at Ashmore, is constantly telling us stories about how there are quite a few saxophones there, and we only have three and are making a great sound. We perform at things like Smith Family Reunions, Eisteddfods, and the Twilight Concerts. I am also a part of the Academic Excellence Program, and am loving it. It is great to be in a group with a group of kids that are like - minded. Many of us have been in the same class for over three years, and are all used to each other and are friends. I believe that this program chooses the brightest students and puts them all together to make one big group of people who are going to move onto further education. All four of these programs that I am involved in are great, and I know for a fact that no other school will have better programs then these. There are also many opportunities to have a say with what happens around the school with the Student Council meeting every week and discussing the problems, what they are going to spend money on and when the next special day will be. With free dress days every term, it makes it a fun day for students, plus it raises funds for the student council to do things like place extra seating, or to give to charities. There are also many opportunities for excursions and extra - curricular activities, such as sciences and English excursions, plus leadership camps and activities. Recently I was invited to attend the Brisbane Parliament with other students who the school believes to be future leaders.So, as you can see, this school is the best school, and I am positive I am going to enjoy my last two years here :)

Tomaree High School
It’s about time there was another option for public high school in the area. This school is like a zoo and I don’t recommend sending your children here. If there was an alternative option I believe many parents would remove their children immediately. Very poor morals and control over children.
